1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of PostTrail. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you're using PostTrail on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us at contact@posttrail.social. You must be of legal age to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use PostTrail.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use PostTrail in a lawful and responsible way. In particular, you agree not to:
- Violate the terms of any platform you connect to PostTrail.
- Publish or share content that is unlawful, misleading, harassing, or infringes on the rights of others.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service or its infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Connected platforms
When you connect a third-party platform (such as LinkedIn or X) to PostTrail, you authorize us to publish on your behalf within the permissions you grant. You can disconnect any platform at any time from your dashboard or from that platform's own settings. You remain responsible for your use of those platforms in accordance with their own terms of service.
5. Billing & cancellation
The free plan is available at no cost. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again and may contact you. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — please email contact@posttrail.social.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you bring into or create with PostTrail. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you — for example, generating posts, scheduling them, and publishing them on your behalf.
We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
7. Our intellectual property
PostTrail's software, design, brand, and documentation remain our intellectual property. These terms do not grant you any rights in them beyond the right to use the service as described.
8. Service availability
We work to keep PostTrail available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, add, or remove features over time, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
9. Warranty & liability
PostTrail is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. If you are a consumer in another jurisdiction, mandatory local protections continue to apply.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes.
